Richard S. LaPilusa, Esq.

Richard S. LaPilusa provides litigation and client estate planning, and business support for our clients in all areas of the Firm’s practice. This includes, but is not limited to, legal research, drafting of contracts and estate plans, probate and business matters, and representing clients in court proceedings at all levels.

Richard is a lifelong resident of Northeast Ohio. He attended the University of Akron School of Law where he received his law degree with Honors and was on the Dean’s List. He received his Bachelor’s in Sociology and Political Science from Walsh University, where he was on the Dean’s List as well. Prior to joining the team at Diemert, Richard spent his first two years of practice working with consumer issues at another local firm.

Richard has been honored with the Pro-Bono and Community Service Award; has served as an intern for National Interstate Insurance Compliance Team and the Stark County Public Defender’s Office. He has also done volunteer work for Community Legal Aid Services, Akron Law Legal Clinic, and the American Moot Court Association.
